About the Artist

Since early childhood Sue has always had a special bond with animals and at one point had over 50 pets to care for.

Horses and ponies have been a big part of her life since she began riding at the age of 4, Progressing through pony club and one day events to working with her stepfather’s racehorses and broodmares.

It is this special bond with animals that enables her to capture the individual character in each portrait which never fails to bring tears of joy to her delighted clients.

Sue trained for 5 years at Shrewsbury and Wrexham colleges of art and despite having far too many days off to go racing she obtained a higher diploma in illustration.
